This maintenance guy keeps coming by the office and asking questions about my computer and shit like that.
Today his question was “If I wanted to watch a new show that comes on tonight at 9, can I watch it the next day online? You know, on the computer?”
I declined having any knowledge to how the wonderful people who upload shows an hour after they air, because I didn’t really feel like explaining it. He’s kind of creepy, I wish I could show you. So I didn't get the internship with the fashion blogger.
But honestly, there’s a PAID photography job, a town away from my college that I’d much rather try for. Plus the internship was located in hoboken and I would have killed myself trying to park there. When we rant about the pastor who preaches that gays should be thrown into a concentration camp, we scream out of fear. And our fears are justified — in the last seven days, a lesbian in Nebraska was carved with a knife, a gay man in Oklahoma was firebombed, and a girl in Kentucky was kicked and beaten — her jaw broken and her teeth knocked out — while her assailants allegedly hurled anti-gay slurs at her.”—
